Job Summary

Shulman Rogers Real Estate Department seeks a Commercial Real Estate attorney. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience as an attorney with substantial commercial office and retail leasing experience including both landlord-side and tenant-side representation. Additional transactional commercial real estate experience is recommended but not required. This is an exciting and challenging position that will allow you to grow as a professional.

Responsibilities:

Negotiate and draft commercial office and retail leases and related ancillary documents including amendments letters of intent subordination and non-disturbance agreements consents to assignment/sublease estoppels and commission agreements.
Negotiate and draft transactional commercial real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements deeds assignment documents financing documents and general corporate authority documents.
Review and summarize due diligence materials (including leases and service contracts) monitor contingencies review and prepare title and survey objections and closing documents.
Conduct closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.
Provide assistance to senior level attorneys senior paralegals and staff members.

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years experience as an attorney with commercial and transactional real estate experience.
Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel.
