Shulman Rogers Real Estate Department seeks a Commercial Real Estate attorney. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience as an attorney with substantial commercial office and retail leasing experience including both landlord-side and tenant-side representation. Additional transactional commercial real estate experience is recommended but not required. This is an exciting and challenging position that will allow you to grow as a professional.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and draft commercial office and retail leases and related ancillary documents including amendments letters of intent subordination and non-disturbance agreements consents to assignment/sublease estoppels and commission agreements.
- Negotiate and draft transactional commercial real estate documents including purchase and sale agreements deeds assignment documents financing documents and general corporate authority documents.
- Review and summarize due diligence materials (including leases and service contracts) monitor contingencies review and prepare title and survey objections and closing documents.
- Conduct closings and complete post-closing documentation and administration.
- Provide assistance to senior level attorneys senior paralegals and staff members.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years experience as an attorney with commercial and transactional real estate experience.
- Excellent organizational skills attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Outlook and Excel.
