JOB TITLE: PVA Coating Technician
LOCATION: Oldsmar FL
PAY RATE: $18-30/hour

Summary:

• Apply coatings to circuit boards and assemblies according to specifications.

• Read and interpret prints labeling diagrams and mixing ratios.

• Operate dispensing and PVA coating machines.

• Mask/tape designated areas to prevent coating in restricted zones.

• Inspect assemblies for uniform coverage; perform manual touch-ups as needed.

• Maintain and clean coating machines (fluid changes mixer replacements general upkeep).

• Perform encapsulation of discrete assemblies.

• Replenish chemicals solvents and fluids including safe dispensing into containers.

• Apply potting bonding lubricants spray coats and insulated tape when required.

• Transport tools materials and circuit board racks between stations and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards including proper chemical handling.

• Complete required training for coating encapsulation and safety.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support production.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum 3 years experience in coating encapsulation or a related trade.

• Experience with detailed spray-painting techniques preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical prints and specifications.

• Strong computer literacy for documentation and machine operation.

• Knowledge of coating materials and applications.

• High attention to detail and ability to perform precision touch-ups.

• Dependable with a strong commitment to safety and quality.

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals and solvents.

• Requires standing lifting and manual dexterity for detailed tasks.

• Must follow all safety procedures and proper handling of materials.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
