ABOUT US

Yarranbrook Feedlot is a specialist beef cattle lot-feeding backgrounding and irrigated farming operationbased in the heart of the Queenslands Border Rivers area. Located close to Inglewood the feedlots strategic location and well-appointed infrastructure accommodates both short and long-fed cattle programs to service a combination of market segments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for an Administration Officer to join our Feedlot Administration Team and Yarranbrook Feedlot on a part time this position you will undertake a broad range of activities including

  • Reception duties
  • Supporting visitor/service provider compliance using relevant systems
  • daily and end of month billing reporting and data processing
  • HR and payroll processing;
  • Weighbridge operations
  • Ensuring livestock documentation and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Undertaking batches contracts and creditors reporting for all assets to and from site including sampling and testing of commodities for quality assurance purposes.
  • Undertaking the timely and accurate processing reporting and recording of accounts receivable and accounts payable

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role you will have experience in an administration role as well as

  • High level computer and numerical literacy including the ability to learn and use specialist feedlot systems with a high level of accuracy in data processing.
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accurate record keeping skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and in a team with a high degree of self-motivation.
  • Ability to remain level-headed under pressure.
