What does this role entail
We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to join our team on an 11-month contract. This role blends day-to-day People Support with ownership of people-focused programs and projects including people systems implementation and continuous improvement of our processes and tools.
It is a hands-on versatile position that requires strong people operations experience project coordination skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver high-impact people initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
People Services & Employee Support
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Support onboarding offboarding and employee lifecycle activities ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Manage data accuracy documentation and records in line with GDPR and internal standards.
- Administer payroll inputs benefits and people systems updates in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Projects & Programs
- Act as a project coordinator for people programs and initiatives ensuring effective planning execution and stakeholder communication.
- Support the implementation and rollout of the new people systems (HRIS and related tools) including UAT change management training and adoption activities.
- Partner with People colleagues and business stakeholders to document processes identify areas for automation and streamline workflows.
- Monitor and report on key people metrics and project milestones escalating risks and dependencies as required.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and drive improvements in people processes and employee experience.
- Contribute to developing knowledge resources (guides FAQs SOPs) to enhance self-service and Tier 0/Tier 1 support.
- Stay current with people technology trends and bring forward recommendations that align with business needs.
RequirementsKey Expectations
- 35 years experience in People Services / People Operations roles ideally within a global fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience supporting people systems implementations (vendor evaluation configuration/testing change management or rollout).
- Strong project coordination skills with ability to manage timelines stakeholders and deliverables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to build trust across all levels of the business.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and people systems; experience with Rippling Workday or similar is a plus.
