Job Details
- Perform inspection and/or test of various components. Inspection method may include visual inspection dimensional inspection functional inspection and memory property testing.
- Ensure fixtures standards and equipment are in calibration at all times.
- Ensure components being built are always in compliance with all current applicable documentation (ie. Manufacturing Instructions (MI) Bill of Materials (BOM) Standing Instructions (SI) and Standard Operating Procedures.)
- Work with the team to develop and implement improvements to the manufacturing processes that favorably impact quality and/or cost (efficiency) as needed.
- Take ownership and develop a strong and confident team that understands the concept of Continuous Improvement and that takes accountability for building the highest quality product (zero defects) in an efficient manner (lower cost).
- Use simple grasping fine manipulation and bi-manual dexterity techniques.
- Potential physical activities to include bending twisting kneeling and lifting and lowering objects no more than 40 pounds.
- Potential pushing/pulling and reaching and lifting above shoulders is required.
- Perform other manufacturing related tasks as directed by Group Leader Supervisor or Manager.
