Crisis Residential Program services provide short-term intensive round-the-clock personalized support to help stabilize someone having a mental health crisis so they can avoid hospitalization. Our teams collaborate with providers who are already involved in an individuals treatment and works to link clients to other services offered by Sheppard Pratt or other community providers.
What to expect.
This is a unique direct care opportunity to promote client recovery by sharing your lived experience. You will provide coaching offer support and advocacy and support client skill development opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Facilitating wellness management and recovery with formalized approaches such as Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) or Whole Health Action Management (WHAM).
- Participating as a member of a multi-disciplinary team by modeling skills and providing consultation in recovery principles and strategies.
- Utilizing assertive engagement techniques to engage clients including motivational strategies and therapeutic settings.

What we need from you.
- A high school diploma associate degree preferred.
- Must obtain the Maryland Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) within one year of hire.
- Must self-identify as an individual who is in the process of recovery from a serious mental illness.
- A drivers license with 3-points or less and access to an insured vehicle.
