Job Description
Purpose: Responsible for the maintenance and repair of company-owned or leased construction equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications/Experience:
- At least 4 years of relevant mechanical or equipment repair experience including work on tools small engines trucks mini excavators directional drills etc.
- Ability to perform welding and minor fabrication.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across a variety of heavy and light equipment.
- Excellent attendance is a must
- Valid drivers license is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED required
Managed By: Equipment Manager
Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in a shop or jobsite setting. Conditions may be hot or cold depending on the season.
- Work site conditions can be loud at times.
- While performing the duties of this position the employee will be required to stand walk kneel crawl climb stoop and bend.
- Periodic lifting of 10 to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
