Job Summary

If you are passionate about data mining and analysis looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you based in our Chennai location. We are currently hiring a Data analyst - Life cycle services (LCS) responsible for the creating Critical site data base and project data base reporting dashboards supporting all world areas across Actuation Technologies. Through collaboration with Sales inside sales and Project management will develop value based Installed base growth enablers and data repository.

As a Data Analyst Life cycle service your Responsibilities Will Be:

Collect and analyze lifecycle data related to products or projects across global manufacturing sites to support business decisions

Monitor and analyze data from various Life cycle digital tools to gain insights into user behaviors and usage metrics.

Identify any issues or areas for improvement and work with business teams to address them

Create project-based SPIR and Data Books that summarize lifecycle insights for sales stakeholders

Build and maintain user-friendly tools and dashboards to automate data collection and reporting processes for project teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and ensure completeness of lifecycle data

Develop and maintain structured databases to store lifecycle data efficiently ensuring integrity and accessibility

Help formulate strategies to enhance user engagement and retention.

Prepare detailed reports and visual dashboards to support decision-making and update status documents in the document management tool to drive sales growth.

Monitor and report document planning and outstanding items using the document management tool ensuring compliance with documentation control metrics

Education skill and experience you require for this role:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (or) in Business/ Computer Science
  • 1 to 3 years of overall experience preferably in Engineering Marketing Sales and lifecycle services with an industrial (business-to-business) company selling configured products.
  • Certified user of Microsoft Power Platforms (Power BI Power Apps/Automate)
  • Clear and effective communication skills (both written and oral) to convey data insights to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and improve optimization processes.
  • Excellent ability to analyze complex data sets and extract meaningful insights
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and cross world area environment.
  • Ability to drive change and effectively handle multiple priorities.
  • Management Competencies

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Equivalent Post Graduation program in Business Management or Data Analytics (Offline Online or Hybrid programs)
  • Must be able to multitask between the various assigned projects.
  • Experienced user in ERP preferably Oracle
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Understanding of lifecycle management concepts and how data insights can improve processes and lifecycle stages.
