The Opportunity
Were on the lookout for a hands-on people focused Venue Support Services Team Leader to lead a small but mighty team delivering seamless venue transformations and exceptional support services across our venues.
About the Role
As the Venue Support Services Team Leader youll be responsible for leading a team of permanent and casual staff to ensure our venues are event ready. This will range from room setups and equipment configuration to event flips and resets. Youll be the go-to person for operational excellence team development and delivering top-tier customer service.
This is a hands on leadership role where youll balance team coordination with active participation in venue operations. Youll work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure every event runs smoothly and every space looks its best.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop a team of Venue Support Services staff
- Co-ordinate event setups venue resets and equipment logistics
- Manage rosters and ensure adequate staffing for events
- Liaise with event operations catering security and AV teams
- Maintain venue appearance safety standards and equipment care
- Support event delivery across multiple venues including evenings and weekends
What Youll Bring
- 2 years experience in facilities logistics operations or events
- Proven leadership experience with direct reports
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A proactive solutions-focused mindset
- Physical capability to lift/move equipment and work on your feet
- Flexibility to work varied hours including nights weekends and occasionally public holidays
