Location: 1201 Edison Dr; Cincinnati Ohio 45216
Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Are You:

Familiar with reading batch tickets and verifying work accuracy
Experienced in packaging products and pick-and-pull operations
Detail-oriented with a keen attention to detail
Able to work independently

Job Function:

As a Batch Maker Trainee your responsibilities will include:

Packaging finished products in various containers and labeling them correctly.
Pulling measuring weighing and blending products to batch ticket specifications (water solvent UV/EB or oil-based).
Completing documentation accurately by recording information on batch tickets and inspecting products.
Communicating discrepancies to management.
Following safety and regulatory compliance procedures.
Conducting inventory control activities and maintaining adherence to The Kao Way standards.
Performing additional duties assigned by production management.

Skills for Success:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.
6 months or more of warehouse experience preferred.
Prior experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment is a plus.
Forklift experience a plus but will be trained.

Communication:

Ability to read batch tickets (work orders or invoices).
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team depending on business needs.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand walk bend kneel stoop crouch crawl climb and sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver 500 pound drums using a drum truck.
