Job Description

The Perryman Company is looking for enthusiastic motivated summer interns to join our team! The candidate will assist in assembly testing troubleshooting and modifying electrical equipment and systems. This will include maintaining existing equipment and the development of new equipment and processes.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assemble test and troubleshoot motors motor controls switch panels PLCs HMIs hydraulic and pneumatic controls. Along with other various electronic controls and systems.
  • Modify electrical systems to correct functional deviations.
  • Diagnose root cause of electrical failures.
  • Develop wiring diagrams layout drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Perform periodic systems testing.
  • Identify potential areas of process improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering team in reviewing data to identify and assess equipment needs and/or efficiencies.

Requirements:

  • Actively working towards Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Automation and Controls Engineering or any other related engineering field.
  • Ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • AutoCAD knowledge a plus.
