Job Description
The Utility Cleaner is responsible of maintaining the public areas of the hotel clean during the overnight shift. Areas can unclude public restrooms executive offices and the lobby.
Responsibilities
Respond to associate (SUPV) calls for VIP cleaning or extra cleaning projects
Complete 3-5 CARE rooms per day
Follow weekly maintenance duties such as cleaning marble threholds near sales offices stairwells from basement to third floor mop floors of stair landings from basement to 3rd floor.
Complete assigned projects such as powerwashing deep cleaning etc.
Keep corridors on guest room floors clean
Moves furniture upon request.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Housekeeping
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Must be able to read and understand daily work assignments
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 250 pounds frequently
- Required to have open availability to include nights weekends and holidays.
Pay Range - 24.57-32.76 /hour
