Job Summary
Youll play a crucial role in ensuring that the code produced by Core Platform meets our high-quality standards by designing developing automating and running tests to ensure the codes quality. When bugs are discovered youll root cause the issue by thoroughly analyzing the code debugging and collaborating with partner teams to resolve the issues promptly and prevent code flow disruptions. Additionally youll develop solutions that help us find the signal in the noise uncovering the elusive bugs to ensure our customers have the best possible experience with our hardware.
- Proficient in source code tracking software such as git to manage and integrate changes to large code bases.
- Exposure to Python and writing test automation scripts and frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with debugging software such as LLDB and debugging strategies to investigate and debug large software systems.
- Previous exposure to hardware bring-up and testing on early prototype devices.
- Familiarity with fundamental computer architecture topics and core operating system components.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment collaborating with hardware engineers software developers and program managers.
