Roseburg is located on Interstate 5 in Southern Oregons scenic Douglas County. The community is nestled in a lush forested region known as the 100 Valleys of the many places youll find it hard to maintain a healthy work-life/personal-life balance because the pace of one is indistinguishable from the other. Not here. Life never stops here but it slows to an easy welcome pace. A traffic jam means you missed the yellow and have to wait for the next green. As a Medical Assistant You Will Be Essential To:
- Empowering Patient Journeys:Be the first point of contact performing crucial preliminary patient assessments that set the stage for effective treatment.
- Preparing for Healing:Expertly prepare patients for their appointments ensuring comfort and readiness for their healthcare provider.
- Lifesaving Care Delivered:Administer vital medications and vaccinations directly contributing to the health and well-being of our community.
- Unveiling Vital Information:Confidently collect blood samples and perform EKGs providing critical data for accurate diagnoses.
- Becoming a Certified Professional:If youre a Certified Medical Assistant your expertise is highly valued. If not were committed to supporting you in achieving your certification empowering your professional growth!
Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Pay Range: Certified $20.86 - $29.46; Non-Certified $18.06 - $25.51 (certification required after hire)

Qualifications
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about patient care and possess:
- A Foundation in Excellence:High School Diploma or GED.
- A Heart for Helping:Medical Assistant experience is preferred demonstrating your commitment to this vital field.
- The Drive to Succeed:A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential is required if hired as a CMA. Dont have it yet No problem! Non-certified medical assistants will berequired to become certified after hire and well support you on that journey.
- A Commitment to Safety:American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers is required within 30 days of hire.
