JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager Card Acquisitions is a member of the U.S. Cobrand Card Acquisitions team. This role supports portfolio growth for Mass-Affluent C-brand Card products and is vital to building and strengthening member loyalty and engagement with Marriotts brands and most valuable members and guests. This role will work in close partnership with internal stakeholders external bank partners and agencies and will play a key role in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across internal and external channels to drive card acquisitions
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality Management or related major
4 years of relevant professional experience demonstrating pattern of exceptional performance
Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Background in consumer marketing or financial products and campaign execution
Experience with cross-functional teams complex organizations and high-impact projects
Strong relationship management skills (experience working with external partners is a plus)
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Marriott Primary Channel Card Acquisitions
Lead and influence strategies to drive portfolio growth for U.S. Cobrand Consumer Cards with focus on the Mass Affluent audience
Plan coordinate implement and manage digital acquisitions marketing campaigns creative assets and offers on web mobile app and email
Manage campaign and segment optimization budgets and reporting to achieve acquisitions KPIs
Manage offer optimization and personalization with internal and external stakeholders to target the right offer in the member/customer lifecycle
Support Key Consumer Card Acquisitions Channels
Develop creative and coordinate execution of Direct Mail and Paid Media acquisitions campaigns in partnership with external agencies and bank partners focusing on efficiencies and new account growth
Support expansion of on property and associate card acquisitions efforts
Manage the development and implementation of marketing assets and campaigns across internal and external channels
Oversee ad-hoc marketing projects as needed to support Global Cards strategic goals
Achieving Goals
Build and strengthen the Marriott Bonvoy U.S. credit card portfolio achieving aggressive acquisitions and sales goals program revenue and profit targets.
Drive new cardmember growth engagement and card spend by thinking strategically and making data-driven decisions in a heavily regulated environment.
Contribute to the Marketing Plan with competitive insight/hindsight learning and point of view on future development/growth opportunities.
Improve product and program marketability and profitability by researching identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities improving product benefits and coordinating new product development.
The salary range for this position is $108300 to $140000 annually.
