Job Description
- Review all incoming correspondence filing the document and entering pertinent information.
- Carry out required actions via the patients electronical medical record in accordance with the coding workflow protocol - with attention to QOF and ECF.
- Highlight clinician action and workflow to appropriate clinician or team as per workflow protocol.
- Organise the medical record of the patient whom you are coding to link problem titles.
- Recognise own knowledge limits and seek advice from clinical or administrative colleagues as appropriate.
- Carry out administrative related tasks as delegated by clinical lead and practice manager.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as allocated by the practice manager or partners.
About the Candidate
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is essential.
- Proficiency in Excel Word and Outlook.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong IT skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
