Description
We seek applicants for part-time instructors to teach evening cannabis courses during future semesters through HCCs Career and Technical Education division. Courses offered in this area include IntroductiontoCannabis Cannabis Regulatory Compliance Cannabis CultivationandCannabis Dispensary Operations.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Prepare appropriate syllabi for courses
- Develop lectures discussions and presentations
- Evaluate students performance using appropriate methods
- Maintain instructional materials and equipment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2000 hours of demonstrated experience in the cannabis cultivation/dispensary field
- 21 years of age or older
- Knowledge of and experience with cannabis cultivation
- Evening and/or late afternoon on-campus and remote availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in cannabis cultivation dispensary operations or agriculture field
- Successful teaching experience
- Knowledge ofand experience with cannabis dispensary operations and legal responsibilities and ethical issues of the cannabis industry

Adjunct faculty shall be compensated per Equated Contact Hours (ECH) of instruction. The current rate of compensation per ECH for new Adjunct Faculty is $1011.
