We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to come join our team as a Life Skills Coordinator at Evolution Independent Living (IL)! We are an independent living program that houses young individuals from 18-24 years old in small efficiency-type apartments or shared-living housing throughout the Metro Boston Central Northeast and Southeast DCF regions.
Salary: $22 - $24/hour
What Youll Do:
- Complete all the intake paperwork for clients using DocU sign and updating client charts as needed while providing staff with required reminders.
- Manage and calculate due dates for assessments. This includes CATS CANS Ehana FCR and LMS Training.
- Communicating reminders to staff when needed while assisting in the preparation of quarterly scheduled reports.
- Process and assist in clients Incentive Savings Accounts.
- Collect monthly savings reported for staff inserting earnings and deducting amounts from the monthly Excel reports.
- Attend monthly individual supervision staff meetings service planning meetings with staff and any other required meetings and serve as a participating team member.
- Coordinate move date with staff and clients.
- Order U-hauls submit referrals to Household Goods arrange pick-ups and assist with the move.
- Take on being the Program Safety Officer.
- Attend all safety office meetings and report back to the Program Director. Ensures all apartments vehicles and staff have the proper safety equipment.
- Responsible for completing quarterly apartment inspection.
- Contacting Landlords and/or maintenance/submitting tickets for all repairs.
- Submits an updated monthly file of all program drop-in notes to assist the Admin and the Program Director. Complete morning drop-ins at clients homes twice weekly.
- Assist in new training shadowing coaches and housing applications
- Update the resource book for both the Lowell and Salem MA area.

Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of experience working with similar client populations in education and/or human services.
- At least 2 years if case management experience preferred.
- Experience working with older youth and young adults in a mental health setting and trauma-informed care is preferred.
- Bilingual candidates able to read write and speak Spanish proficiently are encouraged to apply!
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats.
- Must have general computer skills and strong financial literacy skills.
- Available to work evenings holidays weekend shifts as required.
- Must have an active drivers license.
