**Relocate to Austin TX if needed. Relocation packages provided**

Note: This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our clients Austin TX campus.

Note: The qualified candidate for this position must have a Masters degree in Psychology and hold a valid Texas LSSP license.

Job Description

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
  • Develop evaluation reports behavior intervention plans and recommendations for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide individual group and family counseling for students with emotional behavioral or cognitive challenges
  • Serve as case manager for students receiving psychological services
  • Collaborate with teachers parents and administrators to support student growth and classroom success
  • Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations
  • Offer staff training on behavior management emotional development and mental health best practices
  • Consult with outside professionals such as psychologists psychiatrists and community agencies as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all federal state and school regulations and ensure accurate documentation

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) in Texas
  • Minimum of 2 years providing psychological services in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of evaluation procedures prevention/intervention strategies and behavior management practices
  • Strong communication organizational and consultation skills
