Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: 40 hours per week Rotating Days (6:00 AM 2:30 PM 9:00 AM 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM 6:30 PM) No Weekends No Holidays
Pay Range: $40 $45 per hour ($1600 $1800 weekly)

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Anesthesia Technician Surgical Services (OR/Specials)for an exciting Travel or Local job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Support the Anesthesia Department and OR staff in maintaining a safe and efficient care environment.
Stock anesthesia carts warming cabinets and anesthesia workroom supplies including special-order items.
Restock anesthesia supplies in Labor and Delivery.
Prepare and set up required equipment for scheduled cases (breathing circuits filters suction EKG pads IV fluids pediatric equipment etc.).
Maintain devices such as hypothermia blankets blood warmers Bear Hugger and sharps containers.
Respond promptly to anesthesia providers needs during procedures.
Assist with ORA duties and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of prior Operating Room or Anesthesia experience.
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
BLS Certification required.
Strong organizational interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform effectively in high-stress environments.
Completion of a Medical Terminology course or successful passage of a Medical Terminology exam.
