Job Summary

Status:Part Time HourlyFLSA classification:Non-Exempt

Summary of the Position:Hourly Part-Time positions working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or challenging behaviors are available.

Advocates must be dependable committed and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community school and home settings.
The Primary responsibilitiesof the Advocate are to initiate organize plan develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.
This position offers flexible hours competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.

Work Hours: 2pm to 4pm Monday thru Friday

Availability: 10 hours per week

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED is required.
Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be extremely organized
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be professional flexible and have the ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
Must be available evenings and weekends

Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
Requires reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage.
