Job Description
Community Resource Network of Floridais looking fora caregiverwho is fun compassionate dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their bestlife.
The individual is a 25-year-old woman who lives at home with her mother and is in need of a companion to support her with morning preparation for her day program and to engage in activities during the weekends. She enjoys painting baking going to the movies and participating in community outings.
This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday Friday: 6:30 am 7:30 am (morning routine)
- Saturday & Sunday: 7 hours per day flexible daytime schedule for companionship and community activities
You will be a good fitfor thisposition if you:

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:
- Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
- Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Performing light housekeeping tasks
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
- Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Are 18 years of age or older
