Job Title: Production/Factory Manager (Hats & Apparel)

Role Summary
The Production/Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end hat production process ensuring timely delivery maintaining inventory and production records managing vendor relationships and supervising factory floor operations. This role requires strong leadership organizational skills and a deep understanding of apparel manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
Develop and manage the production schedule to meet sales forecasts and customer orders.
Plan and allocate resources effectively including manpower materials and machinery.
Oversee the entire production lifecycle: cutting sewing trimming finishing and quality control.
Implement and maintain inventory control systems for raw materials and finished goods.
Quality Control
Establish and enforce stringent quality control standards at every stage of production.
Conduct final inspections to ensure every hat meets our brands exacting specifications before shipment.
Investigate and resolve any quality issues implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Process Improvement & Cost Management
Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
Source materials and equipment responsibly negotiating with suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.
Manage the production budget and control operational expenses.
Vendor & Staff Coordination
Maintain strong relationships with vendors /suppliers and any outsourced production component like embroidery.
Resolve issues related to vendor delays or quality concerns.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce factory floor safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business management Fashion production Industrial Engineering or related field.
Proven experience (5 years) in production management or a supervisory role in a large team setup preferably within the apparel accessories textile or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of production planning inventory control and vendor management.
Strong proficiency in MS Suite especially in Excel.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proven leadership experience managing large teams.
Proficiency in inventory management and production planning software preferably Microsoft Business Central.
Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on proactive approach.
