You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMaintain safe orderly lab and environment; prepare lab samples; assist students with equipment operation and lab activities; maintain set up and repair lab equipment.
Document activities and solutions to issues via email written reports etc.
Lab equipment includes but is not limited to the following: microcontrollers multimeters oscilloscopes signal generators power supplies soldering irons 3D printers CNC milling machines programmable logic controllers Rockwell hardness tester specimen mounting press orbital polisher polariscope tensile tester microscopes and furnace.
Successfully completed one full-time semester as a program-ready student in an Engineering or Engineering Technology program.
Must be able to work independently and troubleshoot issues.
Must be able to learn new equipment independently as needed using manuals online resources etc
Familiarity with any of the above equipment programming (MATLAB C python etc.) CAD electronics and hand tools.
Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment background checks including criminal history check and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome.
Copies of transcripts may be required at time of interview. Original hard copies of transcripts will be required at time of hire
