What youll be doing

As a Client Associate you will provide administrative and ongoing support to a team that exceeds expectations for its clients. As a Client Associate in Wood Gundys brokerage department you will work closely with your Advisor who plans and manages clients investments and your this fast-paced environment you will play a key role in supporting and servicing high-net-worth client accounts.

How youll succeed

  • Client Engagement- Focus on each clients experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Anticipate client needs and communicate promptly with your team to build trust and deepen client relationships. Identify activities processes and opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Business development- Proactively find business opportunities for your team. Work closely with investment advisors to support business development activities and help create investment plans based on the clients profile objectives and risk tolerance in relation to return.
  • Relationship Building- Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.

  • You are a certified professional: You are a Registered Representative (RR) and your license is in good standing and therefore you completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Standards of Conduct Manual (CPH).

  • You understand that every detail counts. You notice things that others dont. Your critical thinking skills help inform your decision-making.
  • You make sense of data. You enjoy studying complex problems and interpreting information. You are confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in a powerful way
  • Experience in the financial services and brokerage industry and a working knowledge of various listing instruments are required.
  • Values matter to you. You are your own person at work and embody our values of trust teamwork and accountability
  • Youre fluent in French and English to serve our clients in the community.
