Job Summary
QA Automation Engineer
Role Requirements
Qualifications and Certifications
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.

ISTQB Test Automation Engineer (preferred).
-
Relevant automation tool certifications (e.g. Selenium Playwright).
Experience and Skills
-
3 years in QA automation or software development across multiple applications.

Proficient in scripting and coding.
-
Experience with automation tools.
-
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins GitLab CI).
-
API and performance testing knowledge (Postman JMeter).
-
Experience testing ERP or core business applications.
-
Exposure to performance and security testing tools and practices.
-
Strong understanding of SDLC.
-
Knowledge of test case creation defect tracking and quality metrics.
-
Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA).
Key Performance Areas

Define and maintain Automation Test Strategy and Coverage Metrics.

Ensure high script reliability and execution success rates.
-
Reduce manual test cycles through effective automation.
-
Identify and prevent regression issues early via automated testing.
-
Contribute to automation framework improvements.
-
Maintain accurate and complete test documentation.
-
Deliver timely test results and sign-offs.
-
Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.
-
Design write and execute functional integration regression and end-to-end test cases.

Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
-
Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements product design and risks.

Ensure new software integrations meet functional and compliance requirements.

Prepare and present testing reports.

Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.
