Job Title: Temporary Student Fees Administrator
Reporting to: Senior Credit Controller
Location: Griffith College Dublin
Job Type: Full-Time / Fixed term (24 weeks contract)
Job Summary:
The position involves supporting the Student Fees team with the collection and administration of student fees for the new academic year registration period.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the daily collection of income by phone (primarily) and email.
- Maintaining record of communications with students.
- Processing Sponsorship forms.
- Issuing receipts on a daily basis for bank transfers and cheques received.
- Taking payments over the phone on a virtual payment terminal.
- Advising students on the various methods of payment available to them.
- Responding to email enquiries.
- Assisting the Student Fees team with the administration of the Direct Debit scheme.
- Flexible and responsive to undertaking other tasks as required by the Student Fees team.
Minimum Education/ Experience Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years experience in administration.
- Degree or Diploma in a Business related field is preferred but not necessary.
- Excellent organisational time management and customer service skills.
- Capable of taking initiative and to work independently as appropriate.
- Experience of working in a fast paced customer focused environment.
- Effective communications and organisational skills.
- Computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook (knowledge of Mail Merging an advantage).
