Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapist - Travel Position
Location: Reidsville NC
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 hrs/Days
Pay: $2453/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. This role involves working with children from infancy to adolescence who have a wide range of developmental neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating patient needs developing individualized treatment plans and providing therapeutic interventions to improve a childs mobility strength and function. The ideal candidate is patient creative and passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a fun and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess a childs gross motor skills mobility and functional abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized goal-oriented treatment plans.
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and play-based activities.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and techniques to support their childs progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists speech-language pathologists and physicians.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs and interests of each child.
Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in State.
- Doctoral or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric physical therapy setting is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
