Position Summary:
The Child Care Worker is responsible for providing a safe nurturing and engaging environment for children in our care. This position supports the physical emotional social and educational development of children through structured activities play and daily routines. The Child Care Worker will collaborate with parents staff and administrators to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
Support childrens social emotional and physical growth through play and structured routines.
Assist with daily care needs including feeding diapering and toileting as appropriate.
Maintain a clean organized and safe environment.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding childrens progress behavior and needs.
Follow established policies procedures and licensing regulations.
Model positive behavior patience and respect at all times.
Collaborate with other staff to create a supportive team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require coursework in early childhood education).
Experience working with young children preferred.
Strong communication patience and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to sit stand bend and move around easily while engaging with children.
