Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and well-connected Liaisoning Officer to manage and facilitate communication between our organization and government departments regulatory agencies and other external stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination for obtaining approvals licenses and clearances necessary for the companys operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Government & Regulatory Liaison
Act as the primary point of contact with government authorities local bodies and regulatory agencies.
Manage all necessary government approvals permits and licenses.
Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.
Documentation & Filing
Prepare and submit applications forms and documents to relevant authorities.
Maintain accurate records of all communication approvals and compliance activities.
Handle RTI requests compliance reports and departmental queries as needed.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments (legal finance operations) to gather necessary documentation.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with external stakeholders and officials.
Follow up on pending issues with government bodies and ensure timely resolution.
Compliance & Monitoring
Monitor changes in laws rules and regulations relevant to the company.
Advise management on legal and regulatory developments impacting operations.
Ensure organizational practices adhere to statutory obligations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Experience:
310 years of experience in liaisoning or public relations preferably in insert relevant industry: real estate infrastructure manufacturing etc..
Proven track record of dealing with government bodies legal entities or regulatory authorities.
Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication (English local language)
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Sound knowledge of local laws regulations and governmental procedures
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Computer proficiency (MS Office email document preparation)
