Job Description: Order Processor
Location: Northampton Northamptonshire Office-based (with occasional site visits)
Hours: Monday Friday 8am 4.30pm
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Order Processor to join our operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring
that every customer order is processed with precision attention to detail and in line with industry standards.
The successful candidate will have extensive fenestration industry knowledge and be able to interpret technical
drawings process complex bespoke orders and liaise with both internal teams and suppliers. While primarily
office-based you may be required to attend customer sites with a surveyor to ensure accuracy and clarity on
project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Process and check customer orders for windows doors conservatories orangeries verandas soffits
fascias and guttering.
Accurately interpret surveyor reports drawings and specifications.
Liaise with customers suppliers and the installations team to confirm details and resolve queries.
Ensure orders are compliant with manufacturing and installation requirements.
Maintain accurate records of all orders in line with company procedures.
Work closely with surveyors and project managers to deliver smooth customer journeys from enquiry
through to installation.
Support the wider office team with administration tasks when required.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 15 years experience in the fenestration/home improvement industry.
In-depth knowledge of all window and door types conservatories orangeries and veranda systems.
Strong understanding of fascia soffit and guttering (FSG) products and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with great attention to detail.
Proficient in IT systems (experience with order processing software desirable).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy office environment.
