USAM a high-end architectural millwork firm based in Manassas VA is looking for a Finisher/Sprayer to join our team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the finishing on the completed product per the customers specifications.
Responsible for preparing work to enter the finishing area and/or sands between coats of finish.
Applies uniform coats of satin and/or finish on work.
Has responsibility for mixing colors
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 2 years experience in millwork and finishing
Skilled use of paints
Experience working in an AWI custom shop

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job the employee works in a or near the shop floor where there may be moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to the risk of electrical shock outdoor weather conditions fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally high.
