Job Summary

Location: Rochester NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM 07:00 PM)
Pay Rate: $36/hour
Total Weekly Gross: $1296
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team on a travel contract. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in acute care and demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Provide patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician.
Monitor and document vital signs patient conditions and care delivered.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Perform wound care including bandage changes and dressing management.
Assist with patient hygiene and comfort needs.
Collect specimens for laboratory testing.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Communicate any changes in patient condition promptly to the supervising clinician.
Float to other units as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital setting (MS/Tele preferred).
Patient Ratio Experience: 1:6.
Active State License: New York LPN license (must be in hand at submission).
BLS certification (AHA).
Must be willing to float as needed.
Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility.
