Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Falmouth MA 02540
Schedule: Rotating evenings (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) and nights (11:00 PM 7:00 AM) every other weekend
Compensation: Up to $2000 weekly (for candidates outside a 50-mile radius) or up to $50/hour
Job Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Practical Nurse for an exciting Travel and/or Local job in Falmouth MA 02540.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules regulations and long-term care guidelines.
Meet with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan shift services programs and activities.
Complete and file required documentation during resident admissions transfers and discharges.
Encourage physicians to review treatment plans record/sign orders and progress notes in line with facility policy.
Receive and record physician telephone orders on the Physicians Order Form.
Transcribe physician orders into resident charts medication cards and care plans as needed.
Maintain detailed and accurate nurses notes reflecting resident care and responses.
Inform staff of new admissions expected arrival times and room assignments.
Participate in facility surveys and inspections conducted by government agencies.
Perform nursing administrative duties per job description.
Participate in the orientation of new residents and their families.
Accompany physicians on rounds and provide updates on resident care.
Review charts for treatment plans medication orders and dietary requirements.
Prepare and administer medications safely verifying resident identity prior to administration.
Carry out all drug administration responsibilities in compliance with LPN scope of practice.
Required Skills & Experience:
Education & Licensure:
Graduate of an approved LPN program or accredited nursing college.
Active unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license.
Current BLS/CPR and AED certification required.
