Job Summary
Job Title: Unit Manager Long-Term Care (RN)
Location: Burlington VT
Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home
Schedule:Days 8-hour shifts 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $55.00/hour
Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Unit Manager Long-Term Carefor an exciting job in Burlington VT.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff to maintain quality resident care.
Coordinate admissions discharges and transfers with interdisciplinary teams.
Conduct regular rounds to monitor care and address clinical issues.
Ensure compliance with federal state and facility regulations.
Provide guidance and training for staff development.
Act as a liaison between residents families and healthcare providers.
Oversee infection control and patient safety protocols.
Participate in care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in Vermont (or Compact State License).
2 years of nursing experience in LTC or rehab settings.
Leadership or management experience strongly preferred.
Solid knowledge of regulatory standards (CMS State Surveys etc.).
Strong communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead mentor and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
