Assistant Hospitality Manager
Grandview Caf/Homefield Iconic
We are looking for a full-time Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our team in Columbus OH. In this role you will have the ability to work at multiple locations including Grandview Caf and Homefield Iconic.
In this role you will assist the General Manager in maintaining high service standards managing staff and ensuring smooth operations. Your goal is to foster a fun safe and high-performing environment that surpasses guests expectations and supports business success.

Duties:
- Supports the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations.
- Leads and motivates bartenders and staff during shifts.
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
- Assists with staff scheduling training and performance management.
- Manages inventory through holding bartenders accountable for recipe accuracy.
- Ensures compliance with health safety and licensing regulations.
- Handles customer complaints and resolves issues quickly and professionally.
- Assists with events as needed promotions and special functions.
- Upholds and models company values and policies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in hospitality industry required
- Experience in leadership supervisory or management role a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails spirits beer and wine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays.
Grandview Cafe has been a walkable getaway for our Columbus OH residents since 1925. From the restaurants inception during the prohibition to the jazzy days of the 50s and 60s the changing fare from Greek to comfort the vibe has been unique to the times but the message of community has remained consistent.
