Our client a luxury goods retailer is seeking a Sales Assistant to join their team near Manhasset this role you will be the first point of contact for all incoming leads across online platforms including email chat and social media qualifying prospects maintaining CRM records and supporting the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Ideal candidates will have experience in online/digital customer or sales support are proactive organized and committed to delivering timely high-quality service. This high-touch role offers room to grow into a sales-closing position with significant earning potential for top performers.
Sales Assistant (online sales/customer support CRM exp. req.) Responsibilities
Monitor an average of 45 leads per day across all online platforms
Follow-up on all inquiries and leads in a timely manner
Communicate with clients to answer product and service questions
Filter and escalate qualified leads to senior sales staff
Organize leads to ensure timely follow-up and response activities
Source products by coordinating with vendors and internal contacts
Manage CRM by updating customer and lead records
Support post-sale activities including returns and warranty issues
Contribute to improved CRM segmentation for targeted outreach
Response to inquiries outside of business hours may be necessary to ensure a sale

Online/digital sales support or customer service experience required
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required
