We are seeking an experienced and driven Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning activities for high-performance data centre projects. This role is critical to ensuring that all systemsmechanical electrical plumbing and life safetyare tested validated and transitioned into full operational readiness. Youll be the linchpin between design construction and operations ensuring seamless delivery of mission-critical infrastructure.Job Description
About the Role:
- Develop and manage the overall commissioning strategy schedule and execution plan for data centre projects.
- Lead commissioning activities across all disciplines (MEP CSA IT systems) ensuring alignment with project specifications and client requirements.
- Coordinate with design consultants contractors vendors and client teams to ensure readiness for commissioning phases.
- Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and final handover.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation including test scripts procedures and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety quality and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.
About You:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical or related field).
- 8 years of experience in commissioning with at least 3 years in data centre or mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems building automation and integrated testing protocols.
- Familiarity with commissioning standards (ASHRAE BCA LEED etc.) and QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project Procore) and commissioning software.
- Excellent communication leadership and problem-solving skills.
