The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to support the E7 Program in Oklahoma City OK.
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements.
- Supports sourcing strategies negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
- More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
- More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
- More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
- Bachelors degree or higher
- More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials Firm Fixed Price Cost Plus type Government contracts etc.
