EIFER seeks a Research Fellow (m/f/d) for Hydrogen Engineering & Project Management.

The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting from 01 June per TV-L (100%).

Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002 EIFER provides innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.

  • Tools Modeling Development: Contribute to the development and the optimization of innovative modeling tools for the hydrogen and derivatives business and systems value chain
  • REN hydrogen coupling expertise: Contribute to the expertise and the orientations of R&D activities related to a reliable coupling between a low carbon electricity source and an electrolytic hydrogen infrastructure
  • R&D activities Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of R&D activities and related interfaces with a EDF Business client and further strategic partners
  • Project Development: Lead and manage project proposals for industrial stakeholders and public funded calls driving innovation and collaboration.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Present your findings and activities through internal reporting communications impactful publications and conference contributions.
  • Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Energy & Engineering.
  • Experience with hydrogen systems and/or electricity sources network interface.
  • Skills in programming and coding.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Experience in R&D project management.
  • Fluent in English in German and/or French will be an asset.
