Job Summary
Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Radiographer
Location: Elmhurst NY 11373
Schedule: Monday to Friday 12:00 PM 8:00 PM Alternating weekends & holidays required
Hours: 40 per week (8 hours/day)
Pay Rate:
- Travel Rate: $2681.50/week
- Local Rate: $2325/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiologic Technologist Radiographer for an exciting Travel or Local job in Elmhurst NY.
Responsibilities
- Perform general radiographic examinations in compliance with established protocols.
- Accurately position patients and operate imaging equipment safely.
- Produce diagnostic-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
- Maintain equipment perform quality checks and promptly report any malfunctions.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and patient data in EPIC.
- Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and patients ensuring compassionate care.
- Participate in rotating weekend and holiday schedules as required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license (active status).
- Current ARRT Radiographer certification.
- Minimum 1 year of general radiography experience in an acute care setting.
- BLS certification preferred.
