Procurement Agent - Sourcing

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Procurement Agent (Associate Mid-Level or Senior) to join our Secondary Structures Sourcing team in Everett Washington!

The Sourcing Procurement Agent is responsible for identifying evaluating and selecting suppliers to procure goods and services that meet the companys quality cost and delivery requirements. This role involves negotiating contracts managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with procurement policies to support the organizations operational needs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality price delivery and service capabilities.
  • Negotiate terms prices and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Heavy collaboration with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality delivery or service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies legal requirements and ethical standards maintain a first pass quality mindset
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and new sourcing opportunities.
  • Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  • Heavy coordination with various internal and external stakeholders that provide input on Sourcings recommendation and path forward
  • Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed (less than 10% may be required)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1 years of experience in the deployment and administration of policies procedures and processes
  • 1 years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external) at all levels on a one-on-one basis and in group settings
  • 1 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
  • 1 years of experience with Supplier Management Supply Chain and/or Procurement practices and processes

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college university technical school licensing/certification programs etc.)
  • 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Higher education includes college university technical school licensing/certification programs etc.)
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g. CPSM CIPS)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range Associate (Level 2): $68400 - $79500

Summary pay range Mid-Level (Level 3): $84600 - $98500

Summary pay range Senior (Level 4): $108000 - $125500
