The Robotics Programmer Intern is responsible for the operation programming maintenance and troubleshooting of the welding robots.
This roles core hours are on 1st shift.
YOUR IMPACT
Operate robots train others and observe robots in operation. Oversee operation of the robot and troubleshoot and correct problems that may occur to the robot.
Provide technical support to the manufacturing group with regards to the manufacturing processes/tooling related to robot programming.
Assist with fixture design development and maintenance.
Design welding programming robot in order for it to safety execute correct welds and improve operations improving technology.
Identify and coordinate projects that involve the robots (i.e. new technology installation of capital equipment.
Read blueprints and interpret symbols and assemblies and be able to understand failure analysis.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing either an associate or bachelors degree in weld engineering robotics mechatronics programming engineering or a related field.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Background in fabrications.
Experience with offline programming.

Pay Range:
$18.00 - $37.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
