Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Arrive to work on time for shift and in uniform.
  • Greet and speak to all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
  • Ensure the tables are set to standards.
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
  • Answers guest questions about food beverages and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
  • Describes menu and daily specials takes orders serves food and makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals.
  • Responsible for coordinating the entire station and communicating with front- and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceed guest expectations.
  • Processes guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
  • Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service responds to additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed.
  • Rings up bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier.
  • May assist bus person in stocking removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for closing checks.
  • Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers.
  • Maintains a safe clean organized and stocked work area.
  • Maintain full knowledge of menus recipes and other pertinent information.
  • Constantly increasing knowledge of food beverages and other products and services.
  • Must inform management before leaving on break and before the end of every shift.
  • Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
  • Adhere to all state and federal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
  • Adhere to all Health Department requirements.
  • Adhere to all work rules procedures and policies established by the company.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the company in order to operate the business most efficiently.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven work experience as a server
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS
  • Teamwork attitude
