Job Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive to work on time for shift and in uniform.
- Greet and speak to all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness.
- Ensure the tables are set to standards.
- Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
- Answers guest questions about food beverages and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
- Describes menu and daily specials takes orders serves food and makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals.
- Responsible for coordinating the entire station and communicating with front- and back-of-house personnel to provide a dining experience that meets or exceed guest expectations.
- Processes guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis.
- Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service responds to additional requests and determines when the meal has been completed.
- Rings up bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier.
- May assist bus person in stocking removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses and cleaning and resetting vacated tables.
- Follow appropriate procedures for closing checks.
- Maintains professional relationships with all coworkers.
- Maintains a safe clean organized and stocked work area.
- Maintain full knowledge of menus recipes and other pertinent information.
- Constantly increasing knowledge of food beverages and other products and services.
- Must inform management before leaving on break and before the end of every shift.
- Attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
- Adhere to all state and federal requirements regarding the sale of alcohol.
- Adhere to all Health Department requirements.
- Adhere to all work rules procedures and policies established by the company.
- Any other duties as assigned by the company in order to operate the business most efficiently.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as a server
- Proven customer service experience
- Familiarity with restaurant POS
- Teamwork attitude
