Job Description

Context:

As part of strengthening our Trust & Safety organization we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development of technical tools dedicated to content moderation and compliance on our platform.

You will play a key role in the design enhancement and productionization of our internal systems (detection workflows reporting etc.) working closely with the Trust & Safety Operations team as well as Product Data and Legal.

Missions:

  • Lead a team of front-end and back-end engineers (in-house and external).

  • Own and drive the technical roadmap for Trust & Safety tools: content detection workflow automation moderation dashboards and alerting.

  • Design pragmatic high-impact solutions by optimizing resources and prioritizing based on business value.

  • Leverage AI to:

    • Enhance automated detection of problematic content (violence hate spam etc.).

    • Streamline internal processes through automation (workflows tagging prioritization etc.).

    • Accelerate development (using tools like Cursor AI assisted code generation etc.).

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Data Legal and Support teams.

  • Ensure the quality security and maintainability of deployed tools.


Qualifications :

What were looking for

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead ideally in a high-traffic tech environment (social media video platforms etc.).
  • Strong back-end foundation with a solid understanding of front-end considerations and internal UX.
  • Comfortable leveraging generative AI tools throughout the development lifecycle (detection automation code assistance etc.).
  • Pragmatic impact- and solutions-oriented mindset able to balance speed efficiency and scalability.
  • Strong interest in Trust & Safety topics (moderation ethics compliance automation etc.).
  • Professional proficiency in French and English.
