Job Summary/Basic Function
Accompany Theatre and Dance sponsored showcases auditions musical theatre productions dance and musical theatre classes undergraduate musical theatre performance minor lessons and musical theatre coaching sessions as assigned by the Chair of Theatre and Dance. May include staff accompanist responsibilities for the Tennessee Governors School of the Arts musical direction of theatre productions.
Required Education
Bachelors degree in Music in collaborative piano piano performance or related field.
Required Related Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience as a collaborative pianist.
Desirable Related Experience
Master of Music degree in collaborative piano piano performance or related field. Experience as a collaborative pianist at the college/university level. Experience in musical theater.
