We are looking for: Nursing Technician Assistant
The ICU team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clients regarding patient care updates and treatments. This is one department that focuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in duration. If you want to combine your love of animals and clients this is the department for you!
What youll do:
- Assist veterinary technicians in ensuring patients receive quality care
- Assist in ensuring documentation is accurate and complete
- Assist with oversight and care of stable patients
- Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint
- Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams
- Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department
Who you are:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent client service skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task self-motivated and strong attention to detail
- Work successfully as a team member and autonomously
- Sense of urgency Critical thinking skills
- Effective patient restraint
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior veterinary experience required
