Job Summary
Greenberg Traurig Warsaw office is looking for a Paralegal!
Candidates should:
- be 3rd or 4th year law students at a Polish university
- be native speakers of Polish with a very good command of both written and spoken English
- have a very good academic record
- have strong communication analytical teamwork and logical thinking skills
- be willing to learn
Main duties:
- preparing and negotiating draft finance documents legal opinions documents relating to satisfaction of conditions precedent; preparing drafts of legal documents related to legal transactions; performing other activities related to the official processing of these documents; providing technical assistance in the preparation of documents
- researching and analyzing legal regulations; preparing summaries of changes in the legal status; ongoing monitoring of draft laws and regulations; informing lawyers about changes in the legal status
- reviewing case law and legal literature related to assigned tasks; keeping up to date with new publications; informing lawyers about new releases
- visiting courts and administrative offices to submit clients applications obtain information about the current status of pending cases and gather information necessary for the proper preparation of documentation
- monitoring current reports of listed companies that are clients of the Law Firm or are of interest to the Lawyers
