Our client in the consumer products industry is seeking an Electronics Support Technician to join their team in Lodi NJ. This is a hands-on in-office position where you will balance providing phone-based technical support alongside inspecting and evaluating products. Supporting 2030 customer cases daily you will help troubleshoot small appliances inspect returned products and process warranty claims. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience servicing and repairing electrical and/or mechanical devices. Electronics Support Technician (Electrical or Mechanical Exp. Req.) Responsibilities
Provide phone-based technical product support to customers
Troubleshoot performance problems and walk customers through solutions
Inspect evaluate and document findings on returned parts and electronics
Disassemble products for learning and investigation of technical issues
Take pictures and prepare reports for the factory team
Audit service agent submissions for accuracy and compliance
Log and manage customer support cases using internal systems
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding issues and resolutions
Collaborate with factory teams to enhance support processes and service workflows
Electronics Support Technician (Electrical or Mechanical Exp. Req.) Qualifications
3 years of electrical or mechanical-related experience (technical support trade school field service warranty customer support or similar) are required
Hands-on experience servicing and repairing electrical and/or mechanical devices is required
Tech-savvy & comfortable learning new software programs is required
Strong customer service skills with professional phone and email communication are required
Ability to work 100% on-site is required
