You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailRiverside County is seeking an accomplished technology executive to serve as its next Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTOs responsibility includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of three technical bureaus:Infrastructure & Field Support (TSB) Converged Communications (CCB) and Enterprise Applications (EAB) while driving large-scale enterprise projects from inception to completion. This role is responsible for negotiating strategic vendor partnerships to secure the best possible pricing and contract terms assisting with budget planning and analysis and developing a forward-looking technology strategy for Riverside County. The CTO will create an environment built on trust innovation and collaborationfostering a culture of ownership accountability and continuous partnership with the CIO the CTO will play a critical role in shaping the Countys technology direction and promoting RCIT both within and beyond the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader and polished communicator capable of engaging with department heads executives and stakeholders to build trust influence decisions and align technology initiatives with Countywide goals. Pre-Employment
All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements including a criminal background investigation which involves fingerprinting. Probationary Period
As an Approved Local Merit System all County of Riverside employees except those serving At Will are subject to the probationary period provisions as specified in the applicable Memorandum of Understanding County Resolution or Salary Ordinance. Temporary and Per Diem employees serve at the pleasure of the agency/department head.
